Art and Design are important to us at The Chestnuts and so all the art exhibited at The Chestnuts is original, as well as many of the artifacts.
We want you to enjoy the space and also the pieces. we change the art regularly and all the paintings are for sale. We also hold regular Art Events at The Chestnuts in which we exhibit the work of a number of local artists. If you are particularly interested in any of the pieces or would like to keep in touch with our exhibitions programme do contact us.

All of our Art Events are run to not only highlight the work of local artists and producers but also to raise funds for our Charities. The photographs below were taken during our last two Art Events, one of which was run as part of the Oxfordshire ArtWeeks event.

On Sale will be works of art by local artists Jo Chance and owner of The Chestnuts Chris Burton.
Contemporary paintings, painted ceramics, original cards and other unique lifestyle pieces will be available, as well as
many items with a distinctly Christmas feel for perfect presents.We will also be selling the products and treatments of PUREbliss Spa and Beauty products. Based in Burford, this company (owned by Sallyanne Bliss) has been making the finest range of organic face and body treats since 1994 and which are now provided for guests at The Chestnuts and Culls Cottage. And tasting the Teas of Lahloo.
