The Chestnuts is an outstanding, traditional, yet chic, Cotswold cottage the main part of which dates back to the 1850s. It has many original features including a curved stone stairway, beamed ceilings and a large inglenook fireplace with bread oven. The original building has recently been sympathetically extended and today the property comprises three bedrooms, two lounges, two luxury bathrooms and a separate spa style shower room. All the rooms are interior designed in soothing neutral colours with original art works and artefacts.

The cottage has every modern comfort which will make your stay totally relaxing; the fully fitted kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and freezer. It is equipped for the gourmet chef with all the utensils, cookery books and cooking equipment you should need, as well as the finest Riedel wine glasses, white bone china place settings and a Gaggia coffee espresso/cappuccino machine.
There are flat screen televisions (with freeview) in both lounges and in each bedroom, together with CD, DVD and Bose iPod docking station facilities. There is a small library of hand picked books, information guides, maps and so forth, as well as games for all ages. We have recently installed free wireless internet and telephone (to most National and International numbers) to keep you fully connected (just bring your lap top).

The three double bedrooms upstairs, one with en-suite bathroom/dressing room sleep up to six guests. The cottage also has two double sofa beds (one in each lounge) to sleep an extra four people. We also have a cot and high chair which we are happy to provide free of charge.
