The Chestnuts is an outstanding, traditional, yet chic, Cotswold cottage the main part of which dates back to the 1850s. It has many original features including a curved stone stairway, beamed ceilings and a large inglenook fireplace with bread oven. The original building has recently been sympathetically extended and today the property comprises four bedrooms (two of them Masters), two lounges, dining room, two luxury bathrooms and a separate spa style shower room and downstairs toilet. All the rooms are interior designed in soothing neutral colours with original art works and artefacts.
The cottage has every modern comfort which will make your stay totally relaxing; the fully fitted kitchen has a cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, two fridges and freezers. It is equipped for the gourmet chef with all the utensils, cookery books and cooking equipment you should need, as well as the finest wine glasses, white bone china place settings and a coffee machine.
There are televisions in both lounges and in each bedroom, together with DVD and Bose iPod blue-tooth Music hub. There is a small library of hand picked books, information guides, maps and so forth, as well as games for all ages. Free wireless internet keeps you all fully connected.
The four double bedrooms upstairs, sleep up to eight guests. We also have a cot and high chair which we are happy to provide free of charge.
