Guest comment - What can I say? We had such a fantastic time at The Chestnuts. Everyone loved it - adults and children alike.

The interior design, decor, furnishings and garden are stunning. The white washed walls and stone make it such a relaxing environment. Even though we were 10 people, the rooms/ garden seating areas are so well organised that we never felt on top of each other. You could have a few people reading in the living area while others were cooking or enjoying a glass of wine in the garden. Our every need was anticipated. We really cannot think of anything to change or improve.

This is easily one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in.
 

The Chestnuts is proud to have been awarded GOLD AT THE 2010 and a Silver Award at the 2011 BEAUTIFUL SOUTH AWARDS FOR ITS EFFORTS IN SUSTAINABLE TOURISM, this is the third consecutive year that The Chestnuts has made the final shortlist.

 AS WELL AS BECOMING ONE OF ONLY FOUR FINALISTS IN THE BEST SELF CATERING ACCOMMODATION CATEGORY, GAINING A PRESTIGIOUS HIGHLY COMMENDED AWARD in 2010.

In 2012 The Chestnuts goes forward to represent The Beautiful South in the Visit England National Awards
